The curriculum is designed to encourage exploration; thinking and reinforcement
of learning along with developing skills through an inter-disciplinary approach
thus, making the teaching -learning process a challenging one.
A creative and innovative methodology which reduces stress and makes learning a
joy is the underlying value in designing each lesson plan, related work sheets and
project work.
Emphasis is placed on learning by asking questions, problem solving and through
application to ensure that this learning lasts for a lifetime and we aim to make
every stage of this process a joyous one.
The curriculum for classes I-VIII is designed keeping in view the system of Continuous
and Comprehensive Evaluation(CCE) introduced by CBSE. CCE is an evaluation technique
to provide holistic profile of the learner through the regular assessments of scholastic
and co-scholastic domains of the learner. This scheme aims at making evaluation
an integral part of the teaching learning process. It helps to identify the learning
gaps and makes it possible to take remedial and enrichment measures specific to
each learner.
The academic session is divided into two terms.
- I Term- April to September
- II Term- October to March
